Priestly Blessing
There are tremendous secrets that the Holy One commanded the priests to bless the people of Israel, but the blessing does not depend on these priests in the Holy One, blessed be He, standing above them while the priests carry their hands to bless the people of Israel. For Scripture says:
"This is standing behind our walls, watching from the windows, peering out of the cracks" (Song of Songs II).

Rashi explains the blessing:
"Tell them" - that they will all be heard and gathered in greeting.
"Bless you" - that your assets be blessed.
"And I will guard you" - that robbers should not come to take from your money, God is the giver and he is the guard.
"May the Lord look upon you" - he will show you a smiling face and illuminate your path.
"And educate" - will give you grace.
"God will lift his face toward you" - will conquer his anger.
